Alphonso Abad Bush was born June 26,1941 and shipped out to be with our Lord on July 28, 2009. He was the first of two children, born to Mrs. Edith Abad, the late Mr. William Harmon Bush Sr, and raised by his stepfather, the late Enrique Howard Washington. Al spent a combined 40 plus years working for the U.S. First as one of its defenders of the US Navy's Elite Submarine Service, and earned the rank of Chief Petty Officer, then as a Public Servant for the U.S.P.S. Al married Nonita Sagrado on November 30, 1980, and were blessed with three children, Jonathan, Jason, and Lolita. He received great strength, comfort and joy from his faith in God and his church family and remained a faithful member until his passing. He leaves to cherish his memory, his wife, three children, Mother: Edith Washington, along with his six brothers, and a host of family and friends. The Memorial service will be held on Friday, Aug. 7th at 1pm at Bushnell National Cemetery, 6502 SW 102nd Ave., Bushnell, FL 33513, and Saturday, Aug. 8th at 3pm, at the Cape Coral Hope Hospice Community Center, 2430 Diplomat Pkwy. E., Cape Coral, FL 33909.


AABERG, Warren Otis, 85 of Starbuck, MN passed away on Sunday, August 2, 2009. He was born in Starbuck, MN on October 2, 1923, the son of Hans and Clara (Dokken) Aaberg. Warren is a Navy Veteran of WWII, having served in the Pacific aboard the submarine USS Dace (SS-247). He retired from KSTP TV as Master Control Engineer and was a member of the VFW and the United States Submarine Veterans of World War II. Survived by wife, Eleanor and children: Timothy, Nancy, Jonathan, Marjory, Karl, Glenda; 17 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be Thurs, Aug 6th at 2:00 PM at Minnewaska Lutheran Church with Rev. Todd Klemme in Starbuck, MN. Visitation at Starbuck Funeral Home on Wed from 5:00 to 7:00 PM. Burial at Minnewaska Cemetery.
