At random: Habitability is heavily stressed in the construction of modern submarines. Specially designed color schemes, mechanical conveniences, air conditioning, and the best chow in the Navy are supplied to make the vessels more livable. A full time staff is maintained by Electric Boat Division to work out 'human engineering' problems.

Don, Thanks for having a great sense of humor. You look like a boat qualified pirate. Reminds me of a favorite Halloween joke. Little boy dressed up as a pirate comes to a door for his Trick or Treat offering. A fellow opens the door and sees the adorable little boy and wants to "pull his leg" a little. "What are you, little fellow?" "Ima PIRATE." "No you can't be a pirate." "YES I AM !!" "Well if you're a pirate, where are your bucaneers?" "They're under my buckin' hat." Happy Halloween. DEX
