Every year their grandmother takes them out for a new photo. It is a wonderful way to see how they are growing and she is teaching them about the Scorpion and other things about our subs. Senior Crew Posts: 186 | Subject: RE: Favorite Pictures (NSR) Of the pix I wanted to post this is the only one I could get small enough and it's still 100kb. It's my wife, Jan, waving and her sister standing on a little bridge I made over the stream in my back yard in Callicoon Center, N.Y.. Joe'the'Most

Senior Crew Posts: 186 | Subject: RE: Favorite Pictures (NSR) Thanks Veijo, Downloaded a new program and I think it's going to work. Here goes. This is a picture of my grandson, who is now 23, at the age of 4. He was collecting fishing worms in a recently cut corn field just down from our house which view is blocked by the old chicken coop in Calicoon Center, NY. Master and Commander Posts: 2357 | Subject: RE: Favorite Pictures (NSR) This photo, of me, is the one I like the most.....yeah pretty vain I suppose to have one of myself but memories of a younger day. Taken in Vancouver, 1985, age 22. about a month after initially meeting Kathy. The submarine is HMAS OXLEY. I have shown this photo to a few fellow prison officers and most don't recognise me. Comments from the females have been..."you're friend looks cute" to "wow you were hot" ( my reply is, "I still am" lol ) Let's see if this works.... http://news.webshots.com/photo/2608749460101900417zshuDq Then there is this one of Pamela taken 2-3 years ago now....down at Rockingham Foreshore.....a right little poser she is. Garden Island ( HMAS STIRLING ) in the background ...... http://family.webshots.com/photo/2170392160101900417WCpLfj Blue *_* Edited by Blue from West Oz 2009-01-17 12:55 PM

Old Salt Posts: 264 Location: Harrison, NJ | Subject: RE: Favorite Pictures (NSR) Here's one that 's a little different. I shot it in the Hackensack (NJ) Meadows. The area is a tidal marsh conected to the Hudson River. It's also a major migratory bird area. It's part of the Eastern flyway and a resting area for many species of birds. The shot is along the shoreline area. The foot prints are of some of the birds. I like shooting "texture" pics. This is a pretty good example of texture.

Ahhh... my best memories of OZ. Garden Island, Rockingham, and HMAS Stirling - great places! We beat the Aussies at Darts, they beat us at baseball, makes no sense. But we tied at drinking! BB
