RCK,
Work? Whats work? I retired 10 years ago at 60, I wanted to retire at 55, but at 0500 every mornin when the alarm went off there was a snub 38 poking me in the side. She finaly put it away when I turned 60. |

Saw a Vietnam era PT boat being put back at an airport in DeLand Florida. They also have an Avenger aircraft that was dug out of Lack Michigan that is going to be rebuilt to display status. |

No PT boats in Viet Nam; they were Swift Boats; similar but different configurations. There were two kinds in use back then; the ones that went up the rivers in the delta area and the ones that I rode (one trip only) that were 50' aluminum with armament forward and aft. They resembled PT boats but were different in what they were capable of doing.

No, this was a Viet Nam PT boat but it wasn't an American. It was a Swedish boat!!! Really, Honest Injun, that's what they told me!!!! |

Was it really set up to fire torpedoes? Goes to show you I don't know everything; I just think I do.
I never knew the Swedes were even in Viet Nam.
Thanks for the education
